For over 90 years, Chromexcel® leather has been crafted using a traditional hot-stuffing formula. This unique process infuses the hides with Horween’s proprietary blend of oil, wax, and tallow, resulting in unparalleled durability and a luxurious feel. Each piece is hand-stained with an aniline dye, creating a rich color and a stunning pull-up effect (please note that Black CXL does not exhibit this effect). This full-grain leather withstands the elements and resists hardening for generations.

Important Note: Aniline dyeing may result in slight color variations from hide to hide. These leather sides have been lightly tumbled for a softer temper and pronounced grain.
